Conditions of Sale:
The following terms apply to any orders and purchases you make from this website.
You must not order or purchase goods from us:
If you are aged under 18
For re-sale purposes (all goods must be purchased for personal use) or
Which are outside any order limits or restrictions which we may apply to our wines on this site.
We may accept any order for the supply of wines (in whole or in part), or decline any order. We are not liable to you in respect of those wines that we cannot supply to you, provided that we refund any amounts paid by you in respect of the unsupplied wines.
Prices:
Prices quoted are in Australian dollars; include GST, and all other taxes. Freight may be additional but will be notified to you at the time of check out.
Delivery:
Delivery is generally via Australia Post unless specified otherwise.
Sandwell Wines is not responsible for and does not accept liability for delay or non-delivery of products. If you are not at the delivery address at the time of delivery the goods may be left with a person at the delivery address who is 18 years or older but may be required to show proof of age. If no-one is at the delivery address, or if there is no-one aged 18 years or over, an attempted delivery notice will be left at the delivery address and you will need to collect your wine from the location specified.
Can I order wines from Sandwell if I live overseas?:
Sandwell is only licenced to sell wines in Australia and to deliver wines to addresses located within Australia. Should you wish to have wines delivered overseas you will need to make your own arrangements with a shipping agent (in Australia) and additionally will be responsible for all costs and administration to ship those wines from the shipping agent to your overseas address. Should you wish to do this then we suggest contacting us on info@sandwellwines.com prior to ordering online.
Payment:
Your credit card will be debited for the wine and associated costs prior to dispatch.
Returns:
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law you are entitled to a replacement or refund for goods received that are faulty or defective, not as ordered or not of acceptable quality. Please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. If we are unable to supply you with the vintage you have ordered, we reserve the right to substitute it for the same wine of a different vintage or provide a refund to you.
Privacy Policy:
Sandwell Wines is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Crh), which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.
Collection of your personal information:
When placing an order with Sandwell Wines, you confirm that all the details that you have provided in completing the order and offer to purchase the goods are true and correct. It is a condition of purchase that you verify that you are 18 years of age or over. All orders are subject to acceptance by Sandwell Wines.
Sharing of your personal information:
We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or customer freight shipping. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. Sandwell Wines takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy:
Sandwell Wines reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time. If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Site.
Accessing Your Personal Information:
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. Sandwell Wines reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis.
